A small kitchen,
a lot of icing bags

Sailor Sweets started the way most good things in Ketchikan do — small, stubborn, and close to the water. One oven, a stack of cutters, and a habit of turning whatever the tide brought in into something you could eat.

Every cookie gets rolled, cut, baked, and piped by hand. Royal icing takes its time, so we do too. What comes out is a soft-centered sugar cookie under a clean, glassy finish — deep-sea navy, seafoam, sky, warm sand, and a splash of coral that shows up whether or not you asked for it.

No mixes, no shortcuts, no mystery frosting. Real butter, real vanilla, and however many hours it takes to get the whale's smile right.

How far ahead should I order?

About 48 hours for standard designs. Custom sets and big events usually need 5–7 days. Rush orders happen when the kitchen schedule has room — ask and we'll tell you honestly.

Is there a minimum?

One dozen. $60–65 per dozen depending on how detailed the design is. Mixing designs within a dozen is free and encouraged. Cakes are priced separately.

Do you ship outside Ketchikan?

Yes — anywhere in Alaska. Downtown pickup and local delivery are also available. Everything ships packed to arrive looking the way it left.

What about allergies?

Standard cookies contain wheat, eggs, butter, and sugar. Tell us about dietary needs when you order and we'll talk through what's possible. It's a small kitchen, so cross-contact is always a possibility.

How does a custom design work?

Send your theme, colors, and quantity. You'll get a digital mockup within 24 hours, we revise until it's right, then it gets baked and iced by hand.
